work that we do.
Repairs are handled in a first come first serve basis.
We can clean and/or repair body surfaces.  Using the
latest is safe and effective solvents and cleaners made specifically
to clean antique dolls or doll parts including the wig or hair.  We
can remove the dirt, grime, and smudges of all those years of love
and play.  We can remove SOME ink and marker stains.  If paint is
required after cleaning or if fill is required to fill defects, we will do t
hat repair and then paint the part.  Smoke damage can be hard to
clean but we can usually make your doll look like new.
This little Kestner Princess came to us in the
box, the eyes needed fixed, the body
restrung and about 60 years worth of dirt
removed off of this baby. The silk dress was
thread bare, so a new one was made to
compliment the old one which we always
recommend that you keep and display with
the Doll if at all possible. Her hair was
washed and replaced the missing mohair
fibers.
This Doll belongs to Mrs. Patty Simon Illinois
